Beaver Creek is an incredibly walkable village with no need for vehicles to be used within the village itself. For the wedding day, there will be shuttles provided to take guests to and from their hotel to Beano’s Cabin where both the ceremony and reception will take place.

What is the weather like in September?

September in the mountains is gorgeous! With most days being sunny with daytime tempos in the 60s-70s degree faranhiet and cooler evening temperatures in the 40s-50s range. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, and the sun is very strong as you are at an increased elevation. We recommend packing layers and bringing a light jacket or wrap for the ceremony and reception as well as sunscreen for protection from the sun!

What should I wear?

Black tie attire is perfect for our wedding! We are keeping things classy and formal for the day of the wedding. Keep in mind the terrain of the mountains and aim for block heals or dressy flats for comfort.

Will the ceremony and/or reception be outdoors?

Yes, the ceremony and reception will have parts that will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be entirely outdoors, with parasols provided if rain were to occur. Cocktail will be held on the lawn next to the ceremony cite which will also be outdoor with yard games and lounging areas. Dinner will be held inside the restaurant following dancing on the outside deck with a tent over to prepare for any chance of rain! It is best to wear layers as night will get cold, and be prepared for unexpected rain if it were to occur.

Can I bring my kids?

We will specify on your invitation if your children will be invited with their names written on the invitation. If the children’s names are on the invitation, they will not have a seat saved for them. If your child/children’s names are not on your invitation, we kindly ask that they do not attend.

What else is there to do in town?

So much! Beaver Creek has hiking trails, scenic gondala rides, shopping, spa treatments, mountain biking, golf, and great restaurants! Beaver Creek is a tight nit village with everything within a 3 mile radius! The entire village is yours to explore!

There will be a detailed schedule outlined in the “Scheudle” tab of the website however we recommend arriving either Thursday or Friday depending on your role in the wedding to settle in and enjoy the village. Check out of the hotel will be Sunday morning at 11am for all guests, however you are welcome to explore the town for the afternoon if you choose to!

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation and kindly ask that you do not bring others that are not listed.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Beaver Creek is a resort tucked away in the mountains. Because of this, there is limited parking in the actual village. There are three garages that will most likely be available the weekend of the wedding that you are more than welcome to park in, making walking to the village simple and easy. There are also shuttles that take you from more parking lots at the bottom of the mountain into Beaver Creek resort, removing the stress and added driving up the mountain and into the resort. More information can be found on the “Travel” tap of the website.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! An open bar will be provided. However, we would like to make all of our guests aware who will be partaking in alcohol to take into consideration of the effects of altitude and take extreme caution. Being 8000 feet in elevation, the effects of alcohol are much stronger and less is more! Please drink responsibly so every guest can enjoy the night to the fullest!

Yes! Beaver Creek Village is extremely wheelchair accessible with elevators to get up the small hill to the gondolas! The gondolas are also wheelchair accessible as are completely enclosed and large enough!
